Okay, my first official "Sat Chat" cratered like the meteor that took out the dinosaurs. Not a problem and I appreciate the brothers that hung in until the very end!
What I will say definitively is this - next Saturday, December 10, at 9:00PM we will try again. Lock in the time. What remains undetermined is the platform. I am leaning towards Zoom so I can see and interact with the audience and then upload the video to my YouTube Channel. But I may play with FB Live during the week to see if I can figure out which of the many settings was the one that caused the system to stop me from going live while displaying the "LIVE" banner at the top of the screen.
One way or another, one platform or another, I will be back next Saturday to relaunch my
"Sat Chat" series. I will post the platform by Thursday evening so everyone will have the info necessary to get on board.
Zoom appeals to me because many people don't do FB or Instagram, but I will test some events this week and decide by Thursday. If you see "A Mason's Journey is LIVE" flash across your FB notifications, it's likely me playing and testing the system (I still want to understand how to use it, even if I ultimately move to Zoom).
I also have Streamyard, but I will need to consult some experts to see if there is an option there for me.
Thanks again to the brothers who sat through the disaster, and keep an eye out for the venue for next Saturday's relaunch - the subject will still be "Masonic Influence in The Wizard of Oz".
