What About Noah?

So, what about Noah? What's up with his quest? First, thank you to those who have read my book, "Noah's Quest: Trial at the Gate" and especially to those who have asked recently what's up with Noah? What about the next volume? I am flattered that brothers have read and taken the time to engage with me on Noah's future and I thank you! I know the book is not to everyone's taste and the presentation or premise can be very tricky, but I think this premise allows me to explore masonry in our daily lives with very wide guard rails.

"Noah's Quest: Trial at the Gate"

What's going on with Noah? Noah is progressing. If you recall where he left of at the end of "Trial at the Gate" he was learning that he was to face more work that lay ahead. With the help and brotherly guidance of some familiar characters, Noah has begun his quest and started that work. In volume II we meet some new characters as Noah examines his own understanding of our masonic principles and whether he lived his life accordingly.

So, volume two of Noah's Quest is in the works. I have a working title and I'm about 80% through the first draft. If you check out the website (CLICK HERE) you can read up on the characters, the background, and the progress of Noah as he moves forward on his quest. Oh, and look for a few Easter Eggs in volume two as well!

Unfortunately, my writing and creative time has been extremely limited so far this month. I actually haven't been able to sit at the keyboard at all so far in October. The picture shows my version of "The Big Board" (a little Easter Egg for you Dr. Strangelove fans) and you can see how packed the month is. I am hoping that beyond October I can start slowing my pace and controlling my temp more effectively. My "Big Board" filled very quickly as I have been confronted with various appointments and tasks I have had attend to based on my "official" retirement and the necessary actions that attach to that significant milestone.

My hope is to be back at the keyboard in a week or so and working away at advancing Noah and his quest. I am hoping that I will have volume two in a near-final draft by the end of this calendar year - fingers crossed!

Travel on my brothers, and travel well!
